Jackie Negro joined the World Food Prize Foundation in January 2022. In her role as Program Manager, Communications, Jackie is responsible for assisting the facilitation of the World Food Prize Foundation’s social media channels, press releases, newsletters and many other communications projects. She will directly respond to public inquiries, monitor social media and website analytics and help develop plans for targeted engagement.

Prior to joining the World Food Prize, Jackie worked for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) as the Global Food Security Communications and Social Media Intern. In this position, she managed the program’s Twitter presence, aligned digital outreach, drafted monthly newsletters and created promotional content regarding global food and nutrition topics. Additionally, Jackie served as the Social Marketing Manager for ULTA Research Services based in Chicago, Illinois. During her undergraduate education, she interned for numerous organizations in Washington, D.C., including FRESHFARM, Community Foodworks and the German Marshall Fund of the United States. In these roles, she developed her skills in social media management, content creation, research and education.

Jackie graduated in 2020 from George Washington University with her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in International Development and minors in Sustainability and Spanish. In 2019, Jackie studied abroad in Argentina as a member of the Transnationalism and Comparative Development in South America Program.
