James C. Collins
Chief Operating Officer for Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™.
Jim joined DuPont as an engineer in 1984 and began his career in Manufacturing. He held positions in engineering, supervision, business management and sales and marketing. Jim then served in a variety of roles across the globe, supporting DuPont’s seed and crop protection businesses. From 2004 to 2010, he was responsible for DuPont Crop Protection first as VP and GM, and then president.
In January 2011, Jim was appointed vice president for Acquisition & Integration of Danisco, and was named president of the newly formed DuPont Industrial Biosciences in May of that year. He was named Ag Segment leader in January 2016.
Jim studied at Christian Brothers College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He received his MBA from the University of Delaware in Marketing with a focus on International Business.
