Global Senior Vice President R&D/Quality, Food Safety & Regulatory, Starbucks
Mary Wagner is currently the Global SVP R&D/Quality, Food Safety & Regulatory at Starbucks. Before Starbucks, Wagner was the General Manager/Chief Science Officer for Mars Botanical, a division within Mars, Incorporated. Wagner led technology as Vice President of Research and Development and Quality and Regulatory Operations for Gorton’s. For several years prior to relocating to Gorton’s, Wagner worked at General Mills, Inc. Here she held a variety of positions in both Research and Quality. Prior to joining General Mills, Inc., Wagner was with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as an Assistant Professor. She is Past President, Treasurer and a Fellow of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), as well as a current member of Girl’s Inc. She has also authored and co-authored several publications.
