International events are a cornerstone of the World Food Prize Foundation. Through various annual events, the Foundation strives to engage global leaders and honor those who are doing commendable, critical work. Every fall the World Food Prize selects a highly qualified undergraduate or graduate student for the unique opportunity to take significant responsibility and initiative in planning, especially as they pertain to the Laureate Award Ceremony and Hall of Laureates, as described below.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a solid work ethic, and will be able to take initiative in planning. They will have a capacity for analytical thinking, problem solving, and will possess impeccable attention to detail. Event Planning Interns must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with many staff members at the Foundation.
