Jon Wogman joined the World Food Prize Foundation in February 2022 as the Senior Program Manager, Global Youth Programs and Partnerships.

In this role, Jon is responsible for providing operational oversight and support to the World Food Prize Foundation’s Youth Institute programs across the U.S. and globally. He also coordinates the Iowa Youth Institute at Iowa State University and other educational outreach efforts across Iowa, along with executes the Global Youth Institute and administers other teacher training initiatives.

Prior to joining the World Food Prize, Jon worked independently as a Program Specialist and Professional Development coach, where he supported anti-hunger campaigns focused on racial equity and provided career coaching to young professionals working for nonprofits. Previously, he was also the Chief Program Officer of the Food Recovery Network, a program that empowers students to fight food waste and work to end hunger in America. Additionally, Jon held numerous positions at the Congressional Hunger Center in Washington, D.C., including serving as Director of the Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellowship, which focuses on hunger, poverty and racial equality.

Jon graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Master of Public Administration with a focus in Community Development and from Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
