2026 Laureate Announcement

The World Food Prize Foundation announced the 2026 World Food Prize Laureate, recipient of the prestigious $500,000 award, on March 25, 2026, during a live-streamed event at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City. The announcement took place at 9:00 a.m. ET and was followed by a panel discussion, “The World Food Prize at 40: Food Security in a Strategic Age,” which examined how finance, science and geopolitics are reshaping global food security.
