Governor's Reception
Event Description:
Iowa’s leading role in food and agriculture innovation will be highlighted throughout this exclusive event, with special emphasis on the agricultural startup ecosystem in Iowa. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds will speak and three ag startup founders building their companies in Iowa will be highlighted. There will be a special announcement on a Seed Innovation and Entrepreneurship Partnership between Iowa State University and the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Light hors d’oeuvres and hosted drinks will be served.
The Governor’s Reception is an official side event of the Borlaug Dialogue. It is organized by Iowa’s Cultivation Corridor and sponsored by the Ames Chamber of Commerce, Greater Des Moines Partnership, Iowa Economic Development Authority, and Iowa State University.
