Event Title: Iowa Food Leadership Reception
Start and End Time: 7:30pm - 8:40pm, Wednesday, Oct 12, 2016
Event Description: Iowa’s leading role in food and agriculture innovation will be highlighted throughout this social event, with special emphasis on Iowa State University’s contributions to the field. Iowa Governor Terry Branstad, Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds and ISU President Steven Leath will speak and ISU College of Agriculture Dean Wendy Wintersteen will deliver keynote remarks and introduce a panel of ISU Researchers. ISU College of Agriculture student poster sessions will ring the room. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served to attendees. Invitations will be issued over the governor’s signature.
The event will begin with socializing, food and drink available. Governor Branstad will begin with remarks at 8:00 followed by remarks from Lt. Governor Reynolds who will also introduce President Leath. President Leath will provide remarks and introduce Dean Wintersteen at approximately 8:20. The program will conclude by 8:40.
