Gonroudobou Marietta bridges rigorous crop science with practical, tech-enabled solutions that farmers can successfully use. Through Agro Hikari, she has built an education and advisory platform that translates agronomic knowledge into actionable guidance and services for producers while creating a cross-border community connecting researchers, practitioners and farmers. The World Food Forum profiled her work as an example of how young scientists can amplify impact beyond academia by sharing knowledge at scale. She continuously pushes innovation in digital agriculture, notably developing a drone-based spraying solution that ranked among the top innovative agricultural startups at the ACMA Phase 3 Hackathon finals. Alongside innovation and extension, Marietta contributes to thought leadership through the Civic Academy for Africa's Future, serving within the Agriculture, Environment and Climate research group. She also actively promotes women’s visibility and leadership in agrifood through powerful initiatives like the Agro Hikari Challenge.
