Patricia Toledo
Director of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs for Latin America North, Syngenta

Patricia Toledo has more than 23 years of experience in the Agribusiness sector, both public and private. She is currently Director of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs for Latin America North at Syngenta. At the industry level, she serves as vice president of Sustainability and Social Responsibility of the National Agricultural Council, vice president of Biotechnology of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States and is a member of the governing body of various associations. She is recognized for her leadership in promoting sustainability from a more inclusive perspective and with social impact.
Patricia holds a degree in marketing with a specialization in international business from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). She also has a master's degree in Agribusiness from the Colegio de Postgraduados and has completed Senior Management Programs in Agribusiness from IPADE. In addition, Patricia has pursued studies in public policy analysis from CIDE, communication from Tec de Monterrey, and sustainable marketing from Anahuac. Currently, she is enrolled in MIT's Chief Sustainability Officer Senior Management Program.
In her previous role at Syngenta Brazil with a LATAM scope, Patricia spearheaded the public affairs strategy and sustainability schemes for priority technologies in major Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. During her time in Brazil, she also co-led initiatives with the ERG (Employee Resource Group) of Multicultural Intelligence, promoting diversity and inclusion from a cultural perspective.
