Zachary Clemens
Senior Manager I, Communications
Zach Clemens joined the World Food Prize Foundation in February 2025. In his role as Senior Manager I, Communications, Zach writes and designs media content, handles media relations, developes strategic social media plans and analyzes performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Prior to joining the World Food Prize Foundation, Zach served as a Communications Specialist at Iowa State University where he partnered with agriculture experts to communicate vital information to crop producers, and later led all aspects of communications for the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineerings and Materials Science Engineering as a member of the College of Engineering Communcations team.
Zach has an extensive background in journalism, working in various reporting roles in central Iowa for Mid-America Publishing and serving as lead reporter, and later, Managing Editor of the Estes Park Trail-Gazette in Estes Park, Colorado.
Zach has Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and History from Iowa State University.
