Rebecca Picard
Director, Global Youth Programs & Partnerships

Rebecca Picard joined the World Food Prize Foundation in September of 2021. In her role as Director of Global Youth Programs and Partnerships, Rebecca is responsible for leading the Foundation's efforts to engage, train, empower and inspire youth to address global food insecurity and sustainability issues.
Prior to joining the World Food Prize Foundation, Rebecca managed the international writing fellowship at the Institute of Current World Affairs providing a two-year, immersive experience for young professionals. She has also worked with international education and leadership development programs in Turkey, Germany, California, Washington D.C., and remotely in Chile and France.
Rebecca holds B.A.s in German and International Studies, and a certificate in European Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as an M.A. in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
