The World Food Prize Foundation announced today that Vincent Pandey has joined its staff as Coordinator II, Global Programs and Strategic Engagement.
“Vincent will be instrumental in expanding our international programming to engage more people in solving the challenges surrounding food and nutrition security,” said Mashal Husain, President, World Food Prize Foundation. “His international experience, leadership skills and passion for international development will be a welcome addition to our growing and talented team.”
As a Coordinator, Mr. Pandey will work closely with the Senior Manager of Global Programs and Strategic Engagement to support the planning and implementation of the World Food Prize Foundation’s International Dialogues.
"I am thrilled to join the World Food Prize Foundation as a member of the Global Programs and Strategic Engagements team,” Pandey said. “I have long held a passion for supporting community development and education programs worldwide, and I believe that access to sustainable food sources is the foundation of these efforts. I look forward to showcasing and supporting innovations in food security at our many upcoming events, particularly at the Borlaug Dialogue in October."
Previous to joining the Foundation, Mr. Pandey worked as an U.S. Agency for International Development Market Intern at Konektid International. He worked to streamline scheduling, helped support development for new and existing programs and helped build opportunities for aid pipelines utilizing capture research. He also was an intern at The Borgen Project, where he gained experience in advocacy development, fundraising, recruitment and marketing at a non-profit. Mr. Pandey graduated from University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies in 2023, and a master’s degree in International Development in 2024. He also gained invaluable international experience studying abroad in Madrid, Spain.
