June 9, 2004 - Borlaug Throws First Pitch at Fenway Park

                 Dr. Norman E. Borlaug helped the Boston Red Sox exercise the "Curse of the Bambino" by throwing  
                 out the first pitch at Fenway Park on June 9, 2004.
 

The scoreboard at Fenway Park announces Dr. Borlaug will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch for the Boston Red Sox on June 9, 2004 in their game against the San Diego Padres.

 
 



Borlaug takes center stage before a crowd of more than 35,000 at Fenway Park as he throws the first pitch.

 
 



Dr. Borlaug helps the Red Sox exorcise the "Curse of the Bambino" as he
throws the ceremonial first pitch.
