Francisco Cervantes Díaz

Throughout his career, Francisco Cervantes Díaz has always prioritized dialogue and promoting socially sensitive business. With this vision and with the desire to continually open up better prospects for diverse business sectors, Francisco has chaired the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (CONCAMIN), promoting a new Industrial Policy, sustainable development, the USMCA and Industry 4.0.
He has served as a representative of the business sector, including his participation on the boards of both public and private national institutions, including Nafinsa, Bancomext, IMSS, Infonavit and Fonacot. He has been a major proponent of the Free Trade Agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada. From CONCAMIN, he participated in the Joint Meeting of the negotiations for the renewal of NAFTA, now known as the USMCA.
He is currently President of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) where he actively promotes the use of nearshoring, the strengthening of North American value chains, SMEs and their integration into the global market, Industry 5.0 and the training of human talent. Prioritizing dialogue and the rule of law are the premises that distinguish his management at the head of the highest level of business representation.
His recognitions include: the Adolfo López Mateos State of Mexico Medal for Economic Impulse Merit, the AICO Medal from the Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce, the Energy Merit Award from the Mexican Energy Council, the Business Coordinating Council for his participation in the NAFTA/USMCA negotiation team, recognition for his U.S. commercial service and the Business Merit Medal from the Senate of the Republic.
