Event Description: Global Harvest Initiative (GHI) invites you to the release of its 2016 Global Agricultural Productivity Report®: Sustainability in an Uncertain Season. Dr. Margaret Zeigler, Executive Director of GHI, will be joined by a panel of experts to discuss challenges and opportunities for greater global agricultural productivity growth and the need for investment and innovation in order to meet the world’s demand for food, feed, fuel, and fiber in 2050. The panel will discuss five key policies priorities that support productive sustainable agricultural growth, transform agriculture to mitigate climate change and help farmers of all scales remain competitive throughout the ups and downs of the agricultural business cycle. Panel presentation, followed by buffet lunch.
