Molly Hart
Program Coordinator II, Administrative Operations and Archive
Molly Hart joined the World Food Prize Foundation in January of 2024. In her role as Program Coordinator II, Administrative Operations and Archive, Molly assesses and preserves collections, while assisting with developmental responsibilities including fundraising, grant writing and donor relations. In addition, Molly manages budgeting and transactions, offering support to the Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining the Foundation in a full-time capacity, Molly worked at the Altoona Public Library as an Adult Programming Assistant. In this role she researched and planned a variety of events for library patrons, with a particular emphasis on speakers and programming for seniors.
Molly began her World Food Prize Foundation journey as an archival intern in 2020. Since then, she has served as an Archive Specialist, assisting in managing records of the World Food Prize Foundation in its Foundation and Ambassador Kenneth Quinn Archives. She has also served as a member of the Hall of Laureates event and communcation staff. Outside of the Foundation, she interned with the West Des Moines Historical Society as an undergraduate, assisting with collections inventory and the digitization of catalogue records.
In 2023, Molly earned her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University. Upon completion of her degree, she was certified as official Library Staff by the State of Iowa. Her Bachelor's Degree in History from Grand View University in 2021 largely fueled her passion for literature and research. She also completed an Associate's Degree in the Arts from DMACC in 2019.
