Ernest leads monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and impact measurement for Mercy Corps’ USAID-funded Development Food Security Activity in South Kivu, DRC. Ernest is a humanitarian and development professional with over 12 years of progressive experience in developing and strengthening M&E systems in various development and emergency contexts, and is a thought leader on topics related to MEL systems design, data-driven decision-making and performance optimization. Ernest brings particularly deep experience in designing and managing programs in the food security-livelihoods-nutrition space with a focus on qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation.
