Xavier Morgan, Chicago, Illinois, believes in the future of agriculture. Morgan studied Agriculture Communications Advertising - Food & Environmental Systems at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. While promoting the importance of altruism, diversity, and food security in agriculture, he served in various roles including National Student Advisory Team member for the Agriculture Future of America organization, Delegate for the Global Food Security Symposium on the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, as well as the Co-Founder of UNIFY, an organization that promotes food security, human livelihood, and sustainable systems. Morgan was also appointed to the Presidents’ Committee on planning the International UFWH (Universities Fighting World Hunger) and PUSH (Presidents’ United against Solving Hunger). Morgan was recently featured in FERN (Food and Environmental Reporting Network’s) article titled “At the Nation’s Largest Student Farm Organization, a Reckoning on Race” Morgan is honored to be a part of the 2020 Borlaug Dialogue. Morgan is currently a Territory Manager, Foodservice and is the Co-Chair of the Inspired Giving Campaign at Hormel Foods Corporation.
