Liam Condon
Member of the Board and President Crop Science Division, Bayer AG
Liam Condon serves as a member of the Bayer AG Board of Management and as President of the Crop Science division of Bayer. Based in Monheim, Germany, Condon drives the vision for Crop Science and leads the business to shape agriculture responsibly, bringing innovation and sustainability to the forefront. Condon studied International Marketing &; Languages at Dublin City University and the Technological University of Berlin. After graduating, he joined the former Schering AG and held various sales and marketing positions in the pharmaceutical business in Germany and the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region. In 2005, he was appointed Managing Director of Schering in China. Following Bayer’s acquisition of Schering in 2006, Condon became Managing Director of Bayer HealthCare and General Manager of Bayer Pharma in China. In 2010, he was appointed Managing Director of Bayer HealthCare in Germany and Head of Bayer Schering Pharma in Germany. In December 2012, he became President of the Crop Science Division and has been a member of the Board of Management of Bayer AG since January 2016. Condon is a member of the Governor’s Panel for Consumer Industries at the World Economic Forum and is Chairman of the Board of Directors of CropLife International, the R&D-based agricultural industry association.
