Mr. Mick Messman

Mick Messman, MBA, Chief Commercial Officer, is responsible for the commercial and agricultural strategy for GreenLight Biosciences, a bio-performance company with a unique cell-free production platform that delivers high performing RNA solutions to human, plant and animal challenges. Mick has over 20 years of global agriculture commercial experience. Mick also serves as an independent director on Groundwork BioAg’s board of directors. Mick has held increasingly senior marketing and commercial leadership roles in agricultural companies over his career. Prior to joining GreenLight, Mick was Director, Seed Applied and Biological Technologies at Corteva, where he led the efforts to create a new business built through internal discovery and collaborations. He earned his M.B.A. at Colorado State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Mick resides in Urbandale, Iowa.
