John Ruan, IV
Chairman, Ruan Transportation Management Systems
As part of the family’s succession plan, John Ruan IV assumed the role of chairman of the Ruan companies in August 2021, with the guidance and support of their boards of directors and executive teams.
Ruan IV holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Southern Methodist University and law degree from the University of Iowa. He has previously worked at LaSalle Bank in Chicago and works with several community organizations, including the Des Moines Symphony and Riverfront YMCA.
