Emma Naluyima
Smallholder Farmer, Uganda
Emma is a smallholder pig farmer in Uganda and a private veterinarian focusing on clinical medicine and herd health. She has previously worked for the National Animal Genetic Resources Centre and Data Bank and as an officer in Entebbe in charge of a Livestock Environmental Station. She currently serves on the judging panel for Uganda’s “best farmer” award, which she won in 2014, and is a director of MST Junior Academy, a school she started to educate children about innovative farming techniques.
