2012 Iowa Youth Institute
Over 300 people gathered on April 30, 2012, for the first annual World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute at Iowa State University, including more than 140 high school students from across the state, 90 teachers and dozens of experts from government, business and industry, and academia.
Students participated in a variety of activities, including presenting unique research on a country and food security topic, touring campus labs and facilities and learning about current research topics, and interacting wtih today's leaders in the field. View photos below.
