Rural Renaissance Key to Revitalize Global Economy

Chair of the Council of Advisors at the World Food Prize Foundation, Paul Schickler, and Land O'Lakes President and CEO Beth Ford discuss the state of farmers access to new tools and technology in rural areas and the need for expanded access. They will address critical issues like climate change, youth and how the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted rural communities. Beth and Paul will explore the importance of ensuring access to technologies such as broadband, to bring about greater connectivity between urban and rural communities, which are co-dependent in the area of food security.
