2021 Side Events Agenda

Decarbonising the Agriculture Sector with Climate-Smart Innovation | British Consulate to the U.S.

10/19/2021 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Virtual - https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_AH_qVYwWRf-I7NLj10fO6g

The event will explore the critical challenges and opportunities of decarbonisation of the agriculture sector as countries strive for net zero economies. Through innovation and thoughtful investment, economic and climate wins are possible, but will require a sectoral transformation. The intersection of food production and climate will be explored, with the international climate conference (COP26), hosted by the UK this November, as the backdrop. The central activities will include US and UK demonstrations of innovative solutions and discussion of case studies, thereby allowing participants to collaboratively define issues and foster ideas for new international partnerships.
