2018 Side Events

Please join Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont,for a full day of events at World Food Prize on October 16th, 2018. We look forward to engaging with a range of key stakeholders to discuss enhancing agriculture to improve food security in developing countries.

8:30 – 10:30 am Seed Security for Food Security - a panel of seed experts will discuss scaling access to seeds for smallholder farmers

11:00 am – 12:30 pm Global Food Security Index 2018 - a panel of experts will discuss the key findings of the 2018 Global Food Security Index

12:30 – 1:30 pm Networking Lunch

1:30 – 3:30 pm Crop Security for Food Security - a panel of experts will discuss three pests/diseases impacting developing regions and available integrated pest management solutions for smallholder farmers: Fall Armyworm (Africa), Asian Soybean Rust (Latin America), Rice Hoppers (Asia)

6:00 - 8:00 pm Corteva Agriscience™ and CGIAR Networking Reception @ Science Center of Iowa - (Science Center of Iowa is located at 401 W Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Des Moines, IA 50309. Complimentary shuttles will be running between the Marriott and the Science Center for your convenience)
