01/04/2022

The World Food Prize Foundation (WFPF) announced today that Ashton Lindsey has joined the organization as the new Program Manager, Communications and Graphic Design.

In this position, Mrs. Lindsey will be responsible for maintaining consistency and continuity of the WFPF brand image and message across all programs, both internal and external, expanding the overall presence and reach of the Foundation. She will contribute her talents significantly through targeted email marketing, strategic social media campaigns and by designing all communication documents, including but not limited to brochures, powerpoint slides, signage and event materials.

“Increasingly in the digital, social media-dominated age, we at the World Food Prize use graphics to focus attention on the powerful work and stories of our Laureates and other leaders,” said President of the World Food Prize Foundation Barbara Stinson. “With Ashton’s creative abilities and previous experience, she can only elevate the significance of the World Food Prize and further the reach of our work."

Prior to accepting the Program Manager, Communications and Graphic Design position, Mrs. Lindsey worked seasonally as the Graphic Designer for the WFPF. She also previously was the Lead Graphic Designer and Internship Program Coordinator at The Vinyl Studio in Des Moines, Iowa. There, she oversaw client accounts, designed branded apparel and marketing collateral and supervised The Vinyl Studio internship program.

"I am beyond excited to join the team at the World Food Prize Foundation. The Foundation has always held a special place in my heart since I was an intern in 2017, it's an honor to now be on staff. The work and mission of the Foundation is incredibly valuable and being able to help elevate it through visual communication and design will be a joy!” said Lindsey.

Mrs. Lindsey graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 2018.
