The World Food Prize Foundation (WFPF) has announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a logo and visual brand identity refresh that depict their mission and values in a pronounced and distinguished way.
The purpose of this RFP is to seek out a professional agency or consultant who can create a memorable new logo and a refreshed brand identity that the WFPF can incorporate into both their digital and print presence. This presence includes, but is not limited to, an updated WFPF website, social media platforms, business cards, letterheads, brochures, banners, and more as needed. The WFPF is motivated to grow as an organization and is seeking a qualified agency to assist them in doing so.
The ideal agency or consultant will be able to provide the WFPF with their firm profile and history, names of key personnel dedicated to the project, any relevant project work, design scope requirements that can be found listed in the RFP, proposed schedule, cost estimate, three client references (two current, one former), and any additional applicable information.
The design scope requirements for this RFP include:

Designer to provide 2-3 concepts for review

Designer to be available for brand consultation for up to 24 months

Designer to assist with initial printing necessities

Designer to provide 3-5 black and white and 3-5 color logos

Five rounds of refinement on the original selection

A permanent electronic file of the color logo to keep on file

An electronic logo file in either MAC or PC file format on disk

One 8 ½” X 11” black and white gold logo sheet

Any questions regarding this RFP must be submitted to Nicole Barreca by March 11, 2020. Potential candidates must notify The World Food Prize Foundation of their interest to participate by March 20, 2020. All final proposals must be submitted to Nicole Barreca no later than 5 p.m. CDT on April 1, 2020.
ABOUT THE WORLD FOOD PRIZE: The World Food Prize is the foremost international award recognizing the achievements of individuals who have advanced human development by improving the quality, quantity or availability of food in the world. The Prize was founded in 1986 by Dr. Norman E. Borlaug, recipient of the 1970 Nobel Peace Prize. Since then, the World Food Prize has honored 49 outstanding individuals who have made vital contributions throughout the world. The World Food Prize annually hosts the Borlaug Dialogue international symposium and a variety of youth education programs to help further the discussion on cutting-edge global food security issues and inspire the next generation to end hunger.
