Press and media partner registration for the 2024 World Food Prize Week of Events held October 29-31, 2024, in Des Moines, Iowa, is now open. As the highlight of the week, the 2024 Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue will convene a diverse array of international leaders, experts and scientists to discuss and address critical issues facing global food security.

The 2024 conference, themed “Seeds of Opportunity: Bridging Generations and Cultivating Diplomacy,” echoes Dr. Norman Borlaug’s enduring vision of breaking barriers and transcending boundaries for global food security, emphasizing the vital role of integrating past wisdom, current innovations and the pressing needs of tomorrow. This framework explores how leveraging agricultural technology can address contemporary challenges and further implement intergenerational collaboration and diplomatic engagement towards achieving food security for all.
The 2024 World Food Prize week of events consists of the Borlaug Dialogue, the Laureate Award Ceremony, the Global Youth Institute and over 40 breakout and side event sessions. Press and media should indicate which events they are interested in covering on the registration form.
Bloggers are invited to apply in advance to cover the event as media partners, granting the same event access as accredited press.
