Global Youth Institute Group Leaders

2022 Virtual Global Youth Institute: October 16-21

Applications to serve as a 2022 virtual Group Leader are now open!

The success of the Global Youth Institute will rely heavily on the incredible work of our Group Leaders who will mentor and support student attendees during our virtual experience! The World Food Prize annually invites over 50 young leaders to serve in this role to inspire the next generation of hunger fighters.

If you are interested in applying, please complete the application below by no later than Tuesday, August 23rd. All applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by Wednesday, August 31st. Please direct any questions to Abigail Turner, Global Youth Institute Program Coordinator, at aturner@worldfoodprize.org

Eligibility to apply: Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student.

Throughout this week-long event, we will divide content into smaller time frames, allowing both student participants and Group Leaders to engage with activities and discussions in a manageable format. Programming will include a variety of live and on-demand experiences. We ask that Group Leaders commit to engaging with their groups and the delivered content for approximately 3 hours on each day of live programming (schedule is listed below).
