KiposTech

KiposTech is tackling the $10B animal biosecurity crisis starting with poultry, the sector hit hardest by airborne diseases like avian influenza. These outbreaks have led to over 200 million bird deaths in the past decade, driving up food prices, devastating farmers, and increasing global health risks.

We have developed a patent-pending, filterless air disinfection system powered by non-thermal plasma. Our technology eliminates over 90% of airborne pathogens, dust, and ammonia, without using chemicals, filters, or labor-intensive maintenance. Unlike traditional HEPA filters or UV-based systems, it’s built for the tough, dusty conditions of real farms.

The system creates “clean air bubbles” exactly where animals breathe, bridging the critical gap left by standard ventilation. Our smart sensor platform, KiposEye+, monitors air health in real time, enabling predictive disease control and data-driven management.

We are currently piloting with poultry farms in Pennsylvania and the University of Delaware, and in discussion with Agrotop—a global leader in poultry infrastructure—for international field validation. These pilots are designed to prove return on investment, reduce disease losses, and help farmers meet tightening environmental and health regulations.

KiposTech’s vision extends beyond poultry. Our scalable solution can protect swine, cattle, and healthcare environments, where airborne contaminants also cause significant losses. By improving animal health, reducing antibiotic dependence, and strengthening the front line against zoonotic spillovers, KiposTech directly supports global food security and One Health resilience.

Our mission is simple: to make clean air a basic requirement in animal farming—just like clean water or nutrition—and in doing so, protect food systems, public health, and farmer livelihoods at scale.
