In partnership with the World Food Prize and 2019 Borlaug Dialogue International Symposium, we would like to invite you to join us for the 2019 Iowa AgriTech Accelerator Demo Day. The Iowa AgriTech Accelerator, based in Des Moines, is a 90-day mentor led program focused on AgTech innovation. Led by innovators and industry leaders in agriculture, the Accelerator seeks startups who are committed to changing the status quo through technological advancement. The event will begin at 5:30 with remarks from IATA Executive Director, Nadilia Gomez, followed by keynote presentations from our 2019 cohort about their innovations in AgTech. The event will conclude with recognition of our investor and mentor community followed by a cocktail reception. Hor d'oeuvres and hosted bar will be provided. This event is open to the public, the Iowa AgriTech Accelerator community and the Borlaug Dialogue attendees. We are excited to share the progress of the startups throughout the program and are looking forward to having you join us to help celebrate their successes.

From measuring water content to estimating biomass, the ag applications of radar technology offer a vast range of possibilities. DroneSar builds upon years of expertise in radar technology to deliver the first-of-a-kind radar technology data platform for agriculture use.

  Organization Description: develops intelligent water management solutions that help farmers be more profitable and use water more efficiently. With a soil-based sensor of unique design and an intuitive, user-friendly interface, Raks equips the farmer with information about soil moisture. Raks sensor is more affordable than existing sensors, it can be used in any type of soil where it can be installed, and it can work with a wide range of crops and irrigation systems. The company is established in the US and Brazil leveraging the alternating cropping seasons to extract as much value from their Proof of Concepts and return that value back to their growing number of clients.
