The Office of the President seeks to attract a highly qualified intern to work closely with Ambassador Terry Branstad, President of the World Food Prize Foundation, and his Executive Aide to help raise awareness of the Foundation's programs and activities among donors, offer project support, communicate with guests of the executive and other duties as needed. Responsibilities include:

Support the Executive Aide with general office duties including but not limited to administrative tasks, greeting guests, and supporting the World Food Prize Foundation President, Ambassador Terry Branstad, and his Executive Aide in their daily responsibilities

Support the president in development efforts by researching potential donors and preparing donor briefs;

Communicate with guests of the President, both in-person and via email;

Attend high-level meetings, as appropriate, with the President and Executive Aide

Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background with interest in the mission of the World Food Prize Foundation, government and politics, public administration, and/or non-profit management, excellent written and oral communication skills, understands the working environment of an executive office and will handle with appropriate confidentiality and professionalism, is a self starter and able to work independently as required.
