Steven Neville

​​Born into a working-class family, Dr. Steven Neville’s story highlights the Iowa lifestyle of a down-to-earth approach rooted in hard work and community.

Dr. Neville received his bachelor’s degree from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City, Iowa.

Eight months after graduation from the University of Iowa, in 2012, Dr. Neville opened his startup dental practice, Bondurant Family Dentistry, in his hometown of Bondurant, Iowa.

Bondurant Family Dentistry became a streamlined, efficient, and loved practice that focused on a 5-star workplace culture and 5-star patient experiences. Bondurant Family Dentistry provided 5-star patient experiences to patients of all walks of life, regardless of insurance network or reimbursement rate. Adult and child Medicaid patients were accepted and had access to dental care at Bondurant Family Dentistry.

Every year a local media outlet polled residents, and for several years in a row, Dr. Neville won Favorite Eastern Polk County Dentist.

In early 2025, Dr. Neville received an out-of-the-blue phone call from a local dental company, inquiring about purchasing Bondurant Family Dentistry. After much thought and reflection, Dr. Neville sold Bondurant Family Dentistry in May of 2025.

Dr. Neville will transition from clinical dentistry and shift his focus from dentistry to community opportunities. Dr. Neville got his start in the community as a board member of the Bondurant Chamber of Commerce. He fulfilled two terms and served as Chamber President in 2016.

Dr. Neville believes education is an asset to our community. In 2019, honoring his biology professors, he started the annual Lee and Diane Doidge Endowed Biology Scholarship at Grand View University. In 2018, he started two annual scholarships at his high school, Bondurant-Farrar High School. In 2025, Dr. Neville made a significant philanthropic gift to Grand View University for the future of education.

Dr. Neville’s current service to the community: The University of Iowa College of Dentistry as Adjunct Clinical Professor; Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack, & Hotel Board of Directors, Board Chair in 2025 and 2026; Grand View University Board of Trustee, Chair of Advancement Committee in 2026; and Dental Connections Board of Directors, Des Moines, IA, a local non-profit community health center that serves primarily Medicaid patients.

Dr. Neville built his dental practice on positively impacting people, and he looks forward to promoting positive impact in our community.
