2018 Inspiring the Next Generation Award: David Acker

David Acker received the Inspiring the Next Generation Award in 2018 for his educational leadership at the World Food Prize Global Youth Institute, Borlaug-Ruan International Internship program and Iowa Youth Institute. Acker is the Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University. He was presented the award at the World Food Prize Laureate Ceremony by Jeanie Borlaug-Laube, Chair of the Borlaug Global Rust Initiative and daughter of Norman Borlaug.
