World Food Prize Week Media Information

Press and Media Partner Registration for the
2023 World Food Prize Week of Events

Accredited members of the media can register for the 2023 World Food Prize events, Oct. 24-26. All members of the press who plan to attend must register, your accreditation will be verified and then you will be issued a press pass. 

1. Go to: https://www.accelevents.com/e/2023-norman-e-borlaug-international-dialogue

2. Click ‘Buy Tickets’ in the upper right corner

3. Click ‘Have an access code?’

   1. The complimentary ticket for your group is hidden and you will need to click ‘Have an access code?’ to show your ticket

4. Enter the access code BDpressregistration

   1. The page should refresh automatically

   2. Please do not share this code with anyone else

5. At the bottom of the page,  find the ticket labeled ‘Press Registration’ 

6. Select the number of tickets, 1 or 2, in the drop down menu

7. Push the ‘Continue’ button and fill out the ticket buyer and holder information

8. You will receive an email confirmation once registered!

Verified members of the press will need to produce a valid press badge in order to collect their credentials for access to any events during the World Food Prize Week of Events. If you do not have a valid press pass onsite at the event you will not be permitted entry. 

For event security purposes, event organizers cannot guarantee entry to media that have not registered ahead of time; they may be required to wait for credentials to be issued and may not be able to be accommodated. 

Details for Press Registration 

On the registration form, please mark the events you intend to cover to help us accommodate all media. Please also note whether you are interested in covering the Laureate Award Ceremony at the Iowa Capitol; seats are limited and you will need a ticket to enter. 

We collect your email address so that you receive the most updated news and information about events. The Press section of this website will also be continuously updated, so check back for additional details.

• Please note, if you select that you are interested in attending the Laureate Award Ceremony those who are extended invitations will be notified the week of October 16 and the media list will be finalized by October 20. Invitations to the Laureate Award Ceremony do not include the Laureate Award Ceremony Gala Reception. The Gala Reception is closed to the media. 

We invite bloggers, student journalists, communications staff and social media teams to register in advance to become media partners for the World Food Prize Week of Events, Oct. 24-26 granting them the event access similar to accredited press. Places are limited, please contact npregner@worldfoodprize.org for application details.

Media partner registration will close on October 17, 2023. After that date we cannot accept any other applications. Media partners will not have the opportunity to attend the Laureate Award Ceremony.
