Registration for the 2021 Borlaug Dialogue is Open!
Joining the World Food Prize Foundation as the new Sr. Director, International Dialogues in June has been a joy. Over the past two months, it has been a pleasure getting to know so many of you who are passionate about feeding the world. I am eager for the opportunity to meet more of you during the Borlaug Dialogue, October 20-22, 2021.
Our team is working hard to create an engaging dialogue and bring together leaders from across the global food security spectrum. Today, we are so pleased to announce nine dynamic speakers, who will cover a wide range of topics in the four roundtable discussion areas of: Research and Innovation; Gender Equity and Equitable Livelihoods; Nutrition Sensitive Food Systems; and International Cooperation.
In light of recent global events regarding the Delta variant of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to protect our speakers, participants and staff, the Foundation has made the difficult decision to convert to a virtual format for this year’s 2021 Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue.
As we pivot, we are committed to offer a compelling program, creating numerous opportunities for networking and providing a space for engaging conversation around the challenges faced by the global community.
