Propose an Afternoon Workshop
Afternoon Workshops at the Iowa Hunger Summit provide a diverse group of participants from across Iowa with the opportunity to dig deeper into specific issues of hunger and practical action steps that Iowans can take to alleviate hunger at home and abroad.
The Iowa Hunger Summit venue accommodates a total of eight to ten afternoon workshops. The first round of workshops lasts from approximately 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., and the second round of workshops lasts from approximately 2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This year, we are soliciting proposals for Afternoon Workshops through this form. We anticipate finishing the review of Afternoon Workshop proposals by July 15th, at which point we will let you know whether or not your proposal can be accommodated.
Due to venue limitations, we do not anticipate being able to accommodate every Afternoon Workshop that is proposed.
Please submit your idea by Friday, July 10th.
For more information, please review last year's workshops, or contact Stephen Lauer at slauer@worldfoodprize.org or Catherine Swoboda at cswoboda@worldfoodprize.org.
