Robyn Camille Mijares is a visionary agri-food systems innovator empowering Filipino youth to lead the fight against hunger through sustainable agriculture and education. As Founder of Grow School Philippines (the country’s first bamboo-built, solar-powered farm school) she has equipped over 98,000 students across 42 public schools with training in climate-smart agriculture, agri-tech, and food security. Through hands-on education in hydroponics, aquaponics, permaculture, and climate resilience, Robyn has mobilized young people as food producers and agripreneurs, bridging environmental science with community impact. Her leadership through Youth Uprising Philippines and international partnerships with the UNDP, UNICEF, and U.S. Embassy underscores her global credibility. Robyn is the first Filipino to win the UNDRR Women’s International Rising Star Award and has been honored by the Philippine Congress, TEDx, Vogue Philippines, and multiple government agencies. Her innovative model blends education, sustainability, and youth empowerment making her a transformative force in food systems and a compelling candidate for the TAP recognition.
