Isnawati Hidayah

Isnawati Hidayah is a dedicated researcher and young mother, with over five years of experience in economics and rural development, specializing in food and nutrition security. She is currently pursuing a Joint PhD in Economics at Sapienza University of Rome and in Public Health at Leiden University Medical Center. Her work mainly related with intergenerational and intragenerational food security and malnutrition in Indonesia.

As the founder and executive director of the ROTASI Institute (Institute for Rural Development and Sustainability), she focuses on empowering youth and communities through science to promote sustainable rural agri-food systems, with a particular emphasis on improving food security and addressing malnutrition. Additionally, she is an active member of the Young Scientists Group at the World Food Forum (WFF).
