Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Bokhtiar is the Chief Executive Officer of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC), the apex body of the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) in Bangladesh. Prior to his appointment as the Executive Chairman of BARC, he served as Director of SAARC Agriculture Centre (SAC) for around five years.
