Claudia de la Vega

VP Corporate Affairs Heineken México, Heineken México

Claudia de la Vega currently serves as the VP of Corporate Affairs at HEINEKEN Mexico, where she aims to strengthen and elevate the company's sustainability strategy and corporate reputation.

She has over 15 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, specifically in ESG/ASG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance), sustainability, economic and political analysis, internal and external communications, as well as government relations in consumer industries, spanning Mexico and Latin America.

Her leadership and experience have focused on protecting and improving corporate reputation, which has earned him important national and international recognition.

Her professional career includes companies such as Walmart de México y Centroamérica, Carter Companies, Fundemex AC. and GE Plastics; where she has excelled as a leader in the areas of Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, Institutional Relations, Communication and Events. 

Claudia has a degree in International Relations from ITAM, where she also studied Economics. She also holds a Master's degree in International Business from Seattle University, a Diploma in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from the University of Cambridge and a Diploma in Behavioral Economics and Decision Making from the London School of Economics. Claudia recently obtained a Corporate Affairs Officer certification from the Saïd School of Business at Oxford University. At the same time, she has been a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she has taught Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
