Mr. Amollo is a Humanitarian and development expert with over 25 years of experience providing technical support, oversight, and management of humanitarian and long-term development programs. He has worked as program and technical lead for country and multi-country programs in West Africa, Southeast Asia and the Horn of Africa, directing the financial, management and technical components of different programs and demonstrated strategic thinking while communicating a strong vision to strengthen community resilience and build the capacity of regional and local actors. He has a solid understanding of rapid humanitarian response strategies, natural resource management, peacebuilding and the social dynamics that underpin development in transitional environments—through both academic and practical experience.
