Georgina Gutierrez
Farmer and Community Outreach Agvocate; Global Farmer Network
Georgina Gutierrez is a fifth-generation dairy farmer in the central highlands of Mexico, working alongside her father, a veterinarian, and her brother, an agronomist, in a 550-cow farm, established more than 80 years ago the Valle del Mezquital, in Hidalgo. She has been a member of the Global Farmer Network since 2016 and a staff member since 2022, serving as the Community Outreach Agvocate. Gina leads the GFN’s Communication and Leadership training program and is in direct contact with GFN’s 280 members from 67 countries. In 2020, she was named a Dairy Ambassador for Global Dairy Platform, an organization that gathers dairy’s most important projects, such as Pathways to Dairy Net Zero, and leads the Spanish campaign for World Milk Day, celebrated June 1st, since 2019.
