Brooke Jamison
Chief, Americas Liaison Office, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)

Brooke Jamison is the Chief of the IFAD Americas Liaison Office. Prior to this position, Brooke served for three years as Associate Administrator of the US Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service, overseeing the USDA’s Foreign Service and Global Programming. During her tenure, Brooke helped lead efforts to develop stronger trade relationships and spearheaded the implementation of $2.3 billion in new programming to expand export market development and food aid. Prior to USDA, Brooke spent twenty-four years working on agriculture and international development policy as a Congressional staffer, and at non-profit and private entities. As a Congressional staffer, Brooke handled agriculture and trade policy for two Senators and a Member of Congress as well as managing a legislative team for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York for over 14 years.
She is a native of Aurora, CO. She received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University in 1998, and a Master’s of Science in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2004.
