Chidimma Ifeh

Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research Fellow and Doctoral Student, Montana State University

Chidimma Ifeh is a Ph.D. student and research assistant in the Food Product Development Lab at Montana State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in food science and technology and a master's degree in sustainable food systems. Her interdisciplinary Ph.D. integrates food systems, nutrition, statistics, and computer science to address complex challenges in food innovation and sustainability.

As a Baucus Climate Scholar and Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR) Fellow, Chidimma has collaborated with farmers across Senegal, Nigeria, and Montana to bridge the gap between research and real-world agricultural practices. She leads the Promoting Agricultural Transformation Holistically (PATH) team at MSU, driving initiatives that enhance food security in developing countries.
Her focus is on using a data-informed approach to driving innovation using research to reduce food waste, mitigate climate change impacts, and advance sustainability and food security. She is committed to promoting a resilient global food system.
