Ellen Lupkes
Senior Manager I, Global Youth Programs and Partnerships
Ellen Lupkes joined the World Food Prize Foundation in April 2025. In her role as Senior Manager, Youth Programs and Partnerships, Ellen works closely with the Director, Youth Programs and Partnerships to manage, guide and support all aspects of Youth Institute programming - with a special focus on the Global Youth Institute and the Iowa Youth Institute - as well as coordinate with university and industry partners to deliver the Foundation’s education and training programs.
Prior to joining the World Food Prize Foundation, Ellen was a Program Coordinator with Texas A&M University AgriLife Extension where she coordinated a USDA grant in Ghana, building youth extension programs and fostering international partnerships. She also was the Program Manager for the Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation where she developed agricultural lessons and materials for US classrooms, supported educators through training and mentorship and assisted with the management and stewardship of educational grants and sponsorships. Ellen also spent time with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, overseeing all 4-H programming for Madison County.
Ellen graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in agricultural communication and international agriculture.
