For students seeking experience or with interest in the field of graphic design, the World Food Prize offers an unparalleled professional opportunity. Graphic Design interns work directly with the Director of Communications as well as other members of World Food Prize staff to deliver professional graphics published for local, national and international audiences. Highly qualified undergraduate or graduate students get the chance to take on significant responsibility managing design projects, creating print items, and more. Various duties include:
- Print design and layout
- Social Media graphics
- Logo editing
- Designing folders, brochures, shirts, bags and more for programs and events of the World Food Prize
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, an eye for design, and a willingness to express new ideas and work as part of a team. Working knowledge of the following programs is required: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
