2001 John Chrystal Award:
Bian Li

The 2001 Youth Institute John Chrystal Award winner is Bian Li, who served an eight-week World Food Prize Internship during the summer of 2000 at the International Center for Insect Physiology and Ecology in Kenya.  She is a graduate of Ankeny High School, and currently a freshman and Presidential Scholar at the University of Iowa.
